Procurement Assistant

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Manager to their team in Milwaukee suburb!

Responsibilities:

• Represent municipal clients on projects (Water, Wastewater and Infrastructure construction)
  
• Projects include water main, water pumping/booster stations, wastewater treatment plants and lift stations, storm water collection and distribution systems and pipelines/structures
  
• Conduct on-site observation of work, repairs and testing
  
• Manage/lead projects of all sizes successfully
  
• Monitor progress schedule and shop drawings
  
• Resolve construction conflicts and find solutions that are cost-effective
  
• Other general and municipal engineering duties
  
• Serve as a liaison with contractor
  
• Maintain job records
  
• Prepare payment estimates
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in engineering
  
• 8+ years of construction experience
  
• PE License
  
• WisDOT related transportation project experience
  
• Business/management experience preferred
  
• Municipal experience preferred
  
• Requires travel throughout Milwaukee and surrounding area
