KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle the Operation, Support and Maintenance of the Personalization machines/ Industrial Printers used in the customer site.
Work with the customer operation team and solve any issues in operation.
Respect the short and challenging deadlines and be available at customer site daily at 07:00 AM
Data collection and reporting to the management and the customer.
Respond to the customer service desk incidents in a timely manner to ensure their satisfactory closure.
Perform preventive maintenance operations on the machines in scheduled manner.
Obtain the Support & Maintenance Manager approval prior to disclosing any information, agree or disagree any issues with the client given the sensitivity of this support role.
Ensure all support incidents and their resolutions are well documented in the local support portal.
Check the production area for cleanliness, note any obvious signs of dust and debris around the printers.
Troubleshoot any issues with printing Check the laser, ink and encoding heads.
Check Ink levels prior to operation and perform the cleaning and maintenance on the ink heads.
Check Sensors, detection and any variance during booklet movement in carriage.
Check connections and cables used by the printers.
Replace faulty parts with good parts from the stock Fix any mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues. Maintain the inventory of spare parts and prepare the orders for needed spare parts.
Consult the team leader or manager for any issues, knowledge gathering trainings status.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
At least 5 years of experience as a service engineer/technician in automation
Experience in personalization machines with inkjet and/or laser printing
Experience with smart cards/chips
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Degree in electrical, electromechanical, computer engineering or related field
Fluent in English (Written and Oral)
