We are currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Systems Manager from the maritime industry to join one of our clients based in Saudi.

Job Summary:

The Preventive Maintenance Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of planned maintenance activities for the organization. This role involves managing and optimizing maintenance schedules tracking maintenance tasks and ensuring that the equipment and facilities are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive planned maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate information.
  • Be the SPOC (single point of contact) with the technical support team.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to extend equipment life and reduce breakdowns.
  • Liaise with external IT vendors for the digitization of manuals and documents.
  • Ensure data are accurately built mapped and maintained in the system.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle in SMS including initial setup activities and forms creation and modification workflow changes and resolve queries from the Operations Team (Technical QHSE & Operations)
  • Monitor & support any issues arising from the Fleet Management System (FMS).
  • Prepare regular reports on maintenance performance and costs for management.
  • Be the key driver for auditing company vessels PMS.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to extend equipment life and reduce breakdowns.
  • Train and educate personnel (face2face or remotely) on best practices and safety procedures and setting up the system.
  • Updates the system with Flag and Class specific requirements/jobs/regulations.
  • Creates new Training material for Office and Vessel users in line with system updates.
  • Accountable for the Fleet Management System PMS Module update/expansion to a more efficient and userfriendly setup for existing vessels.
  • Responsible for updates/corrections of Fleet Management System PMS to existing vessels and newly added vessels.
  • Maintain the companys folders on the companys shared drive.

Qualifications Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering.
  • Proven experience of 57 years in maintenance planning and scheduling in the maritime industry.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to maintenance activities.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of machinery and systems onboard company vessels.
  • Good knowledge of data entry and data management.
  • IT proficient in both hardware & software.
  • Detailoriented and able to maintain accurate records.
