Job Description

The PR Executive is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of corporate communication strategies and initiatives within an organization in Dubai. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the organizations reputation through effective internal and external communications.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in developing and executing internal communication plans to ensure effective and consistent messaging to employees. This includes drafting and distributing internal newsletters, organizing employee events, and maintaining communication channels such as digital platforms
  • Supporting the development and implementation of external communication strategies to enhance the organizations reputation with partners, stakeholders, media, and the public. This includes drafting press releases, media statements, speeches, and other external communication materials
  • Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
  • Monitoring media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive media engagement
  • Coordinating media interviews, press conferences, and media events as required
  • Supporting the creation of high-quality content for various communication channels, including digital platforms, social media, website, and newsletters
  • Writing and editing articles, blog posts, and other communication materials to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation
  • Assisting in managing and monitoring the organizations social media presence and creating engaging social media content
  • Contributing to the development of crisis communication plans and supporting the execution of timely and effective communication during crises or reputation management situations
  • Assisting in drafting crisis statements, coordinating media responses, and managing internal communication during critical incidents
  • Contributing to maintaining a consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all communication materials
  • Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and collaborating with marketing teams to align corporate communication efforts with overall branding strategies
  • Supporting the management of relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, investors, government officials, industry associations, and community organizations
  • Assisting in coordinating meetings, preparing briefing materials, and ensuring effective communication to foster positive stakeholder relationships
  • Assisting in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of communication efforts through metrics and data analysis
  • Contributing to the generation of reports and insights to evaluate the impact of communication strategies and making recommendations for improvement
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management


Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles
  • Full English proficiency is required
  • Additional spoken languages are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of local media landscape, cultural nuances, and business environment in Dubai
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools
  • Proficiency in content creation and copywriting for various communication channels
  • Basic understanding of crisis communication principles and practices
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in communication materials
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work outside regular office hours, as needed for events or urgent communication requirements
