Education and training:
You can have a diploma in plumbing or a plumbing technician. Recognized plumbing courses can also be beneficial.
Experience:
Previous plumbing experience is a plus and helps improve your understanding of systems and tools.
Job skills:
Must have excellent manual labor skills, including the ability to measure, cut, weld and install pipe.
Laws and regulations:
Must be familiar with local and national regulations and standards related to plumbing.
