Pizza Chef

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and quality standards.
• Stretch and shape dough by hand or with a rolling pin to create uniform pizza crusts.
• Apply sauces, cheeses, and toppings to pizzas in an aesthetically pleasing and consistent manner.
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.
• Inspect pizzas for quality, including proper toppings distribution and crust texture.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and maintaining stock levels.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Contribute creative ideas for new pizza flavors and menu items.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role in a pizzeria or Italian restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough stretching, sauce application, and baking.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
