The role is hybrid remote 2-3 days onsite per week.

Who You Are


Based ideally in US (Massachusetts or New Jersey), you are part of the Industrial Cybersecurity team as a Cyber Security expert to support the network transformation that aims to improve Cyber resiliency and operational efficiency in a context of digital expansion to the cloud.

You will join a talented and world class team with a high level of expertise well recognized across all Sanofi organization.

You will deliver value for Industrial Affairs and highly contribute to protect the company s mission-critical business value chain (supply chain, operations and manufacturing processes) and assets to benefits patients.

You will accompany and support the Digital transformation of a wide industrial landscape (~90 industrial sites worldwide, factories and distribution centers) with high business stakes, challenges and learning possibilities.


Main Responsibilities

  • Define network security policies and ensure sustainable implementationMaintain and update the network segmentation model and ensure its proper implementation (FWNG, micro-segmentation, ) from the Shop Floor to the Cloud
  • Ensure continued awareness and upskilling of key stakeholders to sustain its adoption
  • Conduct gaps analysis and scale out the segmentation model deployment
  • Contribute to improving cybersecurity profile by leveraging next-generation firewalls capabilities (Application filtering, content filtering, )
  • Adapt and extend best practices and naming conventions of security policies, objects and profiles to both on-premises and cloud environment
  • Monitor global risk state of firewall rules and lead the remediation of risky rules
  • Improve risk detection matrix and visibility with relevant metrics and KPIs
  • Develop and coordinate network security automation activities in collaboration with network security, infrastructure cybersecurity, vulnerability and security operations centers
  • Streamline enterprise-wide firewall rules management process and contribute to enable process automation

Minimum Qualifications


  • Masters degree in one of the following fields or relevant verifiable work experience:
  • Computer Science
  • Cyber Security
  • Relevant operational experience in IT Networking / Firewall Management / Cyber Security
  • Ability to respect commitments, deliver concrete results and handle multiple priorities
  • Strong collaboration and communication approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with distributed teams in an heterogeneous international environmentGood skills in English language


Desired Qualifications


  • Verifiable experience in FW technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, )
  • Verifiable experience in FW management and workflow automation technologies (Algosec, Tufin, )
  • Experience on pharmaceutical and health care industry
  • Professional Cyber Security certifications and good knowledge on Cyber security framework and standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 2700x,
