Pharma Assistant

• Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Count, pour, and label medications according to prescription orders and pharmacy protocols.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory levels, including restocking shelves and organizing stockrooms.
• Perform data entry tasks to update patient records, prescription information, and inventory systems.
• Process insurance claims and billing information accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist customers at the pharmacy counter, answering inquiries, and providing information about medications and health-related products.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments for prescription orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area, including cleaning workstations and equipment.
• Follow pharmacy policies and procedures, including quality control measures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medications, and prescription processing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
