RoesselJoy Technology is looking to add a UI/UX Front End Developer to a client s software development team in Needham, MA. This is a technical role for an individual contributor; You must have UI/UX experience defining web applications (mobile application development is also desirable), along with a proven history of working as a technical contributor, writing front-end code, for web applications.

Responsibilities

Maintain and extend web applications, written with JSP, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery, and HTML5

Explore new front-end development techniques and technologies to help inform and set the direction for the software teams future work

Storyboard, prototype, and present UI/UX concepts for web and native mobile apps

Work directly with external software contractors, and occasionally with customers and distributors

Document your designs and code using state diagrams, flowcharts, and other techniques

Desired Qualifications

4+ years of a proven track record of developing and executing user experiences using JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery, and HTML5 (required)

Ability to interpret legacy code and modify it accordingly (required)

Experience With Other Modern JavaScript Frameworks (strongly Preferred)

Familiarity with building mobile applications for Android and iOS (plus)

Comfortable with using Jira/Confluence/Git for all project management needs

Familiarity with SQL and other back-end technologies
