Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Odoo modules and applications based on the requirements of different departments.
  • Create new features and functionalities within the Odoo framework.
  • Design and implement custom reports and dashboards using Odoo reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Odoo modules and applications.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on Odoo functionalities and usage.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Odoo developments and best practices.
  • Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure the Odoo environment is up-to-date and secure.
  • Assist in database management, backup, and migration tasks for the Odoo system.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth integration of Odoo with other systems.
  • Manage user access and security settings within Odoo to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Monitor Odoo system performance and make recommendations for improving efficiency and user experience.
  • Document Odoo processes, customizations, and configurations for future reference and compliance.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technologies related to the Odoo ecosystem.
  • Provide after-hours support for critical issues related to Odoo and associated IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often required.
  • Certifications in Odoo development, network administration, or other relevant IT fields can be advantageous.
