Job Description

- Performs Medical courier support by transporting lab specimens and medical reports to and from local laboratories
- Delivers laboratory specimens to local laboratories, transports medical reports and billing statements from the HNTF to the TMC once ready for pick up
- Complete the Courier Daily Tracking Log and checklist by recording the number of items transported, date/time of dispatch to and from each destination.
Requirements
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification within 30 days after hire from the online source training.
- Requires minimum of two (2) years of medical courier experience.At least (3) years of medical and customer service experience from a health care institution is a plus.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
