Sales Manager - Hands on - USA - North America - 60/40 split OTE up to $150K

SaaS product Sales Experience required. You can be based anywhere in the USA

I am looking for a Senior Sales Manager, who still likes to be super hands on, to join at a pinnacle time with a AI/Human Centred / SaaS company located in the US and Berlin.

The product, a human insights and Analytics tool, will empower customers and users within the gaming and healthcare markets.

As the Sales Manager, you ll be the first point of contact for customers for the brand and suite of products. You ll work closely with the founders, marketing, customer success, and the product team to ensure that companies are empowered with the deepest understanding of their audience and the ability to provide memorable experiences.

Very early on in its Lifecyle and new features being added all the time, this is an incredibly new and innovative product that is already being budgeted by customers.

What your first 6 months will look like:

  • You will be given responsibility for new business customer accounts across North America. You are joining as the number two within the sales and therefore you will have great presence in the market for new sectors and industries. A great opportunity for forge your own path
  • Relationship building, we are looking for people that really know how to hunt and pipeline new business, build solid relationships and actually get super excited by it.
  • Become an expert in the SaaS intelligent suite of products on offer, and know exactly how they can be a benefit to new customers.
  • Understand the formal and informal buying process in the customer's environment, including customer approvers, decision makers, and influencers, and develop strategies for each to mitigate risk and increase deal confidence.
  • Manage the closing process including negotiations, terms and conditions, involving internal domain experts as needed.
  • Create excellent documentation for each account and customer touchpoint by using HubSpot to maintain a current and accurate pipeline of your early stage, upside, and forecast deals.
  • Communicate and brainstorm with the management and extended team around all aspects of account and opportunity development.
  • Review your opportunity funnel with the management and extended team on a bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Direct accountability to meet or exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota on a consistent basis.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Proven track record of selling software-as-a-service (SaaS) into strategic / enterprise accounts
  • 3+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
  • Demonstrated prospecting, discovery, objection handling, planning and closing skills
  • Deeply in tune with buyer needs and the modern buyer context
  • Ability to quickly identify a customer s needs and offer pragmatic solutions
  • Technical aptitude to master a complex, data-oriented product
  • Ability to clearly communicate ROI paired with strong business acumen
  • Highly coachable and motivated by continuous learning with a healthy dose of curiosity and a strong bias for action
  • Excellent written / oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ideally, demonstrated experience in setting up and iterating on the sales process across all stages (e.g. lead generation, qualification, etc.)
  • Passionate about games, psychology, and a deep fascination for understanding the human experience
