Mechanical Technician

• Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure they are always in proper working order.
• Care for machinery and equipment by cleaning them after use, adjusting parts and lubricating moving components as needed to ensure proper, efficient function
• Record all maintenance and repair services performed and keep track of all materials and parts used during the repair process.
• Service and repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment; drill press, etc
• Troubleshoot problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Repairs items in a timely manner and utilizes established repair policies and procedures.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Any other reasonable duties as and when required.

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical equipment-breakdowns2 years of relevant experience in a heavy-industry
• Hardworking and Physically fit
• ITI/Diploma in. Mechanical Engineering
• Good communication skills
