Mechanical Technician

Position : Mechanical Technician Work Location : On-shore sites (Oil & Gas) Assignment Period : 6 months Commencement of Services : Within 30 days (from date of selection) Salary Package : TBA later

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job purpose :

Perform preventive, breakdown and shutdown mechanical maintenance activities of plant equipment to support production, quality, and safety requirements.

Minimum Qualification :

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.

Minimum Experience & Skills :

• Min. 5 years of experience in installing, maintaining and repairing of static and rotating equipments within a large industrial plant, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

• Good working knowledge about repairs, maintenance servicing and overhaul of mechanical equipments, in oil and gas background.

• Conversant with usage of measuring and testing instruments.

• Knowledge of HSE procedures and practices.

• Planning and Organizing, Scheduling and Coordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording.
