Requirements
Job Description:
- As a Mechanical / Piping Engineer you will be instrumental in designing and developing mechanical systems and piping layouts for industrial projects within the oil and gas industry. You will oversee the installation and testing of these systems ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop piping layout and mechanical systems for industrial projects.
- Supervise the installation testing and commissioning of mechanical and piping systems.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and kept uptodate.
- Collaborate with project management teams and other engineering departments to ensure project objectives are met.
- Stay informed of the latest industry trends and technological advancements in mechanical and piping engineering.

Responsibilities: Project Management and Supervision: Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory. Quality Control and Safety Compliance: Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Review the work progress on daily basis. Communication and Reporting: Report project progress and budget matters to clients. Communicate with clients to interpret their needs and requirements. Maintain a daily diary of the job site s operations, reporting to management as necessary. Problem Solving: Resolve any problems that may arise due to emergencies, delays, or other issues. Documentation: Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
