The Department of Mechanical Engineering (MCE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for visiting faculty positions at the assistant, associate or full professor level commencing in Fall Semester 2024. The visiting faculty positions are primarily focused on teaching. The visiting position is a one-year renewable contract.
The applicant is required to have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and show evidence of a significant teaching portfolio. Evidence of excellence in teaching and research are expected from the candidates. In addition, experience in the American model of higher education is highly desirable.
