Mechanical Engineer

• Oversees stock management, ensuring a steady supply of the products our accounts need.
  
• Develops tools in conjunction with the team.
  
• Coordinates lot tracking, usage tracking, backorder tracking, including collaborating on alternative solutions.
  
• Foresight in preparing months ahead to meet customer needs.
  
• Forecasts and manages UK shipments.
  
• Coordinates with the Corp Accounts team and marketing to develop forecasts.
  
• Attends weekly supply chain calls.
  
• Uses Availability tracker and info from supply chain calls to provide marketing with critical info on stock management.
  
• Manages theday lot change process.
  
• Manages all Customer notifications.
  
• Coordinates customer preparation and providing new lot trial kit.
  
• Manages BP233 & BP234 panel process.
  
• Manages the Corp accounts lot tracking tool.
  
• Direct line Customer Liaison, including lot reservation, resolving order issues, doing customer satisfaction checks, manages LabCorp Drug Development (Covance) needs.
  
• Use (and if needed makes modifications to) specific tools to complete all of these processes which include the following, Lot Tracker Sheet, Corp Accounts Backorder report, LCA DRUG Development (Covance) Global Reservation Sheet, Mayo new lot selection sheet.

• Provides excellent customer service and coordinates on time delivery of products
  
• Some travel to customer sites along with Corporate Account team members to build relationship and gain further understanding of each lab s processes.
