Material Engineer – Rail Civil & MEP

We are seeking experienced Material Engineers to manage material submissions and approvals for rail civil and MEP works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare review and coordinate material submittals in line with project specifications and applicable standards.
  
• Manage the material approval process addressing consultant and client comments through to approval.
  
• Review technical datasheets test reports compliance statements and manufacturers documentation.
  
• Coordinate with engineering procurement and construction teams to ensure approved materials meet site requirements and project timelines.
  
• Liaise with consultants clients subcontractors suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical queries.
  
• Maintain material approval trackers and highlight delays that could affect procurement or construction.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Materials Engineering Architectural Engineering or a related field.
  
• 710 years of relevant experience on major construction infrastructure industrial power or railway projects.
  
• Experience with materials for rail civil and MEP works.
  
• Proven experience managing material submittals and approvals on large projects.
  
• Sound knowledge of construction materials specifications international standards and testing requirements.
  
• Strong coordination skills and an understanding of how material approvals affect procurement construction and project schedules.
