Modern Trade Merchandisers Brief

Reporting to the Merchandiser Manager, the primary role of the Merchandiser is to service our customers in a safe manner by ensuring level of stock is maintained and rotated correctly at large format "off premise" stores. You will support our sales by growing partnerships with customers.

Responsibilities:

Sales Support

Promote the sales of Amber to consumers as a preferred choice, highlighting the features and benefits

Ensure Amber product is rotated and maintained following product rotation standards, thereby, minimizing Out of Code and Damaged product concerns

Ensure Amber equipment is clean and in good working order

Collaboration

Work with sales team members in building new programs and selling in large displays

Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices

Lead by example and follow Company standards & Amber Values

Execution

Accomplish Amber merchandising processes and routines

Evaluate all competitors activities such as new launches and price reductions and communicate with Merchandising Manager or other members of sales team

Build and protect the Amber product portfolio

Notify appropriate Account Sales Manager for pick up or exchange of any dented, damaged, or out of code product, any out of stock items, and Quality Point of Distribution (QPOD) opportunities.

Maintain professional relationships with retail managers of accounts

Requirements

Experience/ Criteria

Age- 18 years and above

Education- Minimum OND

Gender- Male/Female

Height- Minimum 5.5 inches

Experience in merchandising is a plus

Renumeration

Basic: 40,000

Sales commission: 20,000
