- Responsible for layout, setup, alignment, operation, maintenance and preservation of manual and automatically operated tools, equipment, and machines used in machine shop and on field calls.
- Responsible for layout, setup, alignment, operation, maintenance and preservation of manual and automatically operated welding, brazing, soldering, cutting tools, equipment, and machines.
- Performs drilling, cutting, shaping, planning, and other fabrication, repair, rework, and modification operations with machines, equipment, and tools common to aircraft machine shops.
- Performs welding, brazing, soldering, and cutting operations in the fabrication, overhaul, rework, modification, and maintenance of aircraft, vehicles, tools, equipment, and machines when welder certification is required.
