Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Neurology - Locum Tenens - Open Hourly Pay Rate
Richmond, Virginia
We are searching for a locum Neurology Nurse Practitioner for inpatient hospital coverage beginning February 2023 through February
Position Details
- Patient demographics: 100% Adult
- Setting: Hospital - 100% Inpatient
- Level 1 Stroke Center
- Average number of Hospital-based Patients Per Locum Per day: 30
- 1 Physician onsite at a given time; 6 total in group
- 5 APPs in Group
- Lab and X-ray facilities on site
- Position will not support neurosurgery
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days; pending license and background
Compensation & Schedule
- Open Hourly Pay Present your desired rate!
- February 2023 - February 2024
- 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am (flexibility)
- Weekend call
- Team of APPs provider 24/7 coverage
- 12 hour shifts supporting NIS and neurology service at comprehensive stroke center
- Estimated 120 hours in two week schedule
Requirements
- Board Certified NP - Required
- Active Virginia State License - Required
- Neurovascular experience - Highly preferred
- COVID Vaccination - Required
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Required
- ENLS or 2+ years of Acute inpatient experience - Required
