The Logistics Coordinator main responsibility is to ensure that customer orders are shipped, and raw
materials are received with proper documentation, delivered/received on time, and in a cost-effective
manner:
- Serving as a liaison between the corporate planner and the plant production management to
provide input for existing and updated schedules.
- Preparing documentation for each job.
- Coordinating with air and sea freight carriers to obtain the optimum choices based on timing
and cost.
- Coordinating activities which support the plant and the logistics group.
