IT Senior BA Position Summary

• Required:
  
• Proven 3 5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
  
• Cross-functional requirements gathering and analysis
  
• Critical skills; Organization, prioritization, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration across teams.
  
• Experienced with data and process mapping
  
• Proficient in BPMN, EPC, or other process modeling techniques.
  
• Office software such as MS Office
  
• Ability to work effectively in various technical systems such as QMS (Quality Management Systems), DMS (Document Management Systems), or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management Systems).
  
• Preferred:
  
• Experience in Life Sciences / Medical Device companies
  
• Experience with Computer Software Validation
  
• Experience with global regulatory requirements
  
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies
  

• BS or MS degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
  
• 3-5 years equivalent work experience participating in project teams as an IT Analyst
  

The IT Senior Business Analyst works with Client Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements, define, document, and communicate, the as-is and to-be environment. The BA is also responsible for analyzing the technical landscape and locating data within the client. Projects will include support of a life sciences business and applications supporting business functions such as Product Lifecycle Management, Quality Management, and Document Management

• Project team member for Kinetic, the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management processes and tooling.
  
• Document processes and data flows between applications both for as-is and to-be.
  
• Write user guides, business requirements, and functional specifications from the business perspective.
  
• Hybrid, onsite or fully remote -- based on 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time Zone US work hours
  
• Attend on-site workshops or attend remotely roughly once monthly. Travel expectation 10 15%
  

• Process modeling and data modeling

Deliverables:

Facilitate Data Cleansing in preparation for Data Migration for the Kinetic (PTC Windchill) project

Analyze the as-is process for Change Management document via workflows, requirements specifications, and process changes required with the new tool.

Perform data verification and validation with SMEs and Validation lead

Integrate business process deliverables into the overall project plan

Key Responsibilities:

• Part of an Agile scrum team to deliver software functionality on a 4-week release train
  
• Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods. Document findings and obtain business approval for documents produced.
  
• Identify and establish the scope and parameters of requirements analysis. Define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
  
• Work with stakeholders and the project team to prioritize collected requirements.
  
• Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
  
• Working with IT SMEs and Business SMEs to locate and assess the data migration readiness in the following areas.
  
• Manufacturing
  
• Device History File / Device Master Record
  
• Packaging and Labeling
  
• Global Trade Item Number (GTIN)
  
• Other data sources as needed.
