Laboratory Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and instruments for experiments
• Assist scientists and researchers in performing experiments and gathering data
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results
• Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and dispose of hazardous materials properly
• Order and restock laboratory supplies as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist in the development and optimization of lab protocols and procedures
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field such as Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• Prior experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficient in using laboratory equipment and software
