Laboratory Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out laboratory experiments, procedures, and data analysis under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager
• Prepare samples and materials for testing and analysis
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and calibration
• Keep accurate records of laboratory procedures and results
• Assist in the development and optimization of laboratory methods
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advances in laboratory techniques
• Support the Laboratory Manager in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience in food science or quality assurance preferred
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
