Job Purpose:
The Junior Project Engineer will support the Project Management and Engineering teams in the planning coordination execution monitoring and reporting of Oil & Gas projects. The role will provide exposure to engineering procurement construction commissioning and project controls activities while ensuring compliance with project requirements HSE standards quality procedures and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager and Project Engineers in day-to-day project coordination and execution activities.
• Assist in coordinating activities between engineering procurement construction commissioning project controls HSE QA/QC and other project disciplines.
• Monitor project activities deliverables schedules action items and interfaces and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing engineering documents drawings technical submissions specifications and project procedures.
• Participate in project progress technical coordination and interface meetings and maintain action trackers.
• Support preparation of daily weekly and monthly project progress reports and presentations.
• Assist in monitoring engineering procurement construction and commissioning progress against the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors vendors consultants and internal departments to obtain required project information and resolve routine issues.
• Support management of technical queries RFIs document reviews correspondence and project documentation.
• Assist in identifying project risks constraints delays and interface issues and escalate them to the responsible Project Engineer.
• Support site activities inspections construction coordination testing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure activities are performed in accordance with approved project procedures HSE requirements quality standards and applicable ADNOC/client requirements.
• Maintain proper records trackers reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in technical and professional development programs as part of the UAE National development initiative.

• A bachelors degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum two (2) years in GCC region.
