Junior Process Engineer

Qualification & Experience:

• A bachelors degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum two (2) years in GCC region.d Document .

Job Purpose:
The Junior Process Engineer will support process engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects covering design engineering construction pre-commissioning and commissioning phases. The role will assist senior process engineers in developing and reviewing process designs while ensuring compliance with project specifications HSE requirements applicable engineering standards and client/ADNOC requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support preparation and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) P&IDs process datasheets process philosophies and engineering calculations.
• Assist in process simulations heat and material balances hydraulic calculations line sizing and equipment sizing.
• Support preparation and review of process design basis operating philosophies control philosophies and process specifications.
• Assist in developing process requirements for vessels pumps compressors heat exchangers separators and other process equipment.
• Participate in HAZOP HAZID SIL design reviews and other process safety studies under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Piping Instrumentation Electrical Civil HSE and other engineering disciplines.
• Assist in reviewing vendor documents technical queries engineering deliverables and contractor submissions.
• Support resolution of process-related technical queries during engineering and construction.
• Participate in site visits inspections walkdowns and technical coordination meetings as required.
• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including system checks start-up preparations performance testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain process engineering calculations technical records document registers and action trackers.
• Ensure process engineering activities comply with applicable ADNOC/client specifications international codes and standards project procedures quality requirements and HSE standards.
• Participate in technical training and competency-development programs as part of the UAE National development program.
