Joinery Estimator

As a Joinery Estimator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects by providing accurate and detailed estimates for joinery and woodworking services. You will work closely with our sales design and production teams to assess project requirements analyze costs and prepare comprehensive estimates that align with our quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Evaluation: Assess project specifications drawings and other documentation to understand the scope of work.

Material and Labor Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of materials labor costs and other relevant factors to determine accurate project estimates.

Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials labor equipment and overhead ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales design and production teams to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimating.

Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit wellorganized and competitive bids in a timely manner meeting project deadlines.

Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and availability.

Value Engineering: Collaborate with the design and production teams to suggest costeffective alternatives without compromising quality.

Documentation: Maintain organized records of estimates bids and project documentation.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar role within the joinery or woodworking industry.

Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software and tools. Strong knowledge of joinery materials processes and construction methods.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
