Qualification Requirements And Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience Level: 3+ years of experience in administration of monitoring platforms
• Certifications: Network+, Security+ certified or equivalent level of knowledge
• Special Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Experience with ScienceLogic administration required
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Solarwinds preferred
  • Able to participate in after-hours work as needed
• Other:
  • Must be able to analyze problems and conduct effective fault diagnosis while working to resolve issues through resolution
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Basic understanding level of virtualization technology as well as ability to use Microsoft Office products. Linux/UNIX skills ideal but not essential.
  • Basic level of experience of working on various types of network equipment in an ISP environment, a large NOC or other such company associated with networking
  • Self-motivator and clear communicator (written and verbal)
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing own workload
  • Capable of working/using own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of scripting / programming languages such as python, PowerShell, SQL and familiarity with API calls
