The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic dynamic and adaptable Islamic Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. The successful candidate will be passionate about inspiring a love of learning committed to high standards of teaching and pastoral care and eager to contribute to the wider life of our thriving international school community. The ability to teach Islamic across a variety of ages for both Arabic and Non- Arabic students from Foundation Stage through to Secondary would be an advantage.

About You

You will be a teacher who is passionate about their profession and seeks continuous improvement. You will have a positive mindset and will always do your very best for students for parents and for colleagues. You will have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.

You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community. You will have a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. You will be responsible for encouraging and developing further our culture of inspiration enjoyment and success. Keen to collaborate and share your expertise you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships. The flexibility and open-mindedness required to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment are essential.

About the Role

Our school follows the English national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme post-16. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful and expectations are high for achievement for all students. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents is essential and is a key part of maximising student progress. Selection Process

Applicants should submit a CV letter of application and the details of two professional referees one of which should be your current Head Teacher/Principal.
