Insulation Supervisor - Client of Linked4HR

One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire Insulation Supervisor who will be responsible for but not limited to:Job OverviewSeeking an Insulation Supervisor to lead and oversee insulation activities within the shipbuilding organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective installation and maintenance of insulation systems onboard vessels while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols

• Direct and supervise the installation maintenance and repair of insulation systems onboard vessels ensuring compliance with project specifications safety regulations and quality standards.
• Attempt to act as a mentor to trainees in the insulation department.
• Ideally the candidate should have a certification as an assessor or be willing to become one.
• Despite the challenges it is imperative to ensure that all insulation activities adhere to industry standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to overcome the inevitable obstacles faced in insulation operations.
• Manage available resources as efficiently as possible.
• Prioritize safety at all times given the potentially hazardous nature of insulation materials and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field preferred with additional certifications or training in shipbuilding or related disciplines being advantageous.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
• A documented history of being a certified assessor would be preferred.
• Ideally the candidate should have a documented history of working at prominent shipbuilding organizations.
• Experience working on projects adhering to top classification society standards/requirements would be desirable.
