Information Technology Manager

One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager with 8 years of experience to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview

Supervise IT governance & planning infrastructure and operations in the company in alignment with best practices to ensure effective and efficient IT operations.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Contribute and monitor work done by the team members and ensuring it is completed on time without delay.
• Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate business related issues to senior management.

Functional Responsibilities

• Develop IT strategy and ensure its alignment with strategic and business objectives.
• Supervise IT governance and risk management frameworks to ensure safety security and business continuity in the company.
• Recommend optimal IT solutions and execute projects to meet the organizations IT needs including managing and controlling solutions and overseeing IT vendor relations.
• Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure including networks servers and systems.
• Ensure data security disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
• Optimize infrastructure to support shipbuilding operations efficiently and costeffectively.
• Assure that all relevant to technology and IT requests and queries from the company stakeholders are catered for effectively.
• Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring costeffective technology investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer science IT Digitalization or any other similar field.
• Above 8 years of experience in related field including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Masters Degree in Computer science IT Digitalization or any other similar field is preferred.
