Education and Academic Qualifications: Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information security or a similar field. Having a master's or doctoral degree in the field of information security is an added advantage.

Technical knowledge: A deep understanding of information security concepts, protection techniques, and hacking operations. Knowledge of programming and computer networking basics.

Professional certifications: Obtain certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CompTIA Security+ or any recognized certifications in the field of information security.

Practical skills: Experience in assessing vulnerability in systems, developing protection strategies, and penetration testing.
