Informatica PowerCenter: Expertise in utilizing Informatica PowerCenter for developing ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes. This includes understanding various components such as:
- PowerCenter Designer: Creating mappings transformations and workflows.
- Workflow Manager: Managing workflows sessions and tasks.
- Workflow Monitor: Monitoring workflow execution and troubleshooting errors.
- Data Warehousing Concepts: Familiarity with data warehousing principles dimensional modeling techniques (e.g. star schema snowflake schema) and best practices for designing and implementing data warehouse solutions.
SQL and Relational Databases: Proficiency in SQL programming for querying manipulating and managing data in relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server MySQL or DB2. Ability to write complex SQL queries stored procedures and triggers.
Data Profiling and Cleansing: Experience in performing data profiling to analyze data quality issues identify anomalies and assess data completeness. Skills in data cleansing and transformation to improve data quality and integrity.
