- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, motors, and other electrical equipment.
- Provide training and guidance to apprentices and less experienced electricians.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
