Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and refine the ICV strategy aligned with company goals and country regulations
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for maximizing local content in procurement, operations, and project
  • Build capacity and deliver training internally to support stakeholders to operate their business or conduct tasks considering the impact on the ICV score
  • Monitor compliance with local ICV requirements and regulations
  • Cultivate performance improvement vision, establishing KPIs, analyzing performance and issuing recommendation or guideline for improvement
  • Evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for their ICV contributions and work closely with procurement team to identify and onboard vendors with strong local content capabilities
  • Ensure an accurate and timely reporting to internal/external stakeholders capturing the right ICV score and drive the annual ICV audit
  • Follow carefully any ICV changes which may impact the overall score of the entities in scope, working closely with local ICV partner and/or representing the company at industry events, conference or forum related to ICV if necessary

Qualifications

  • University degree in Economics or related area
  • 3-5 years previous experience in ICV as a consultant, auditor or officer
  • Strong understanding of UAE ICV regulations, policies and best practices is a must; other GCC country knowledge an asset
  • Experience in data reporting
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communicator/influencer able to present idea, to concept to realization
  • Project management skills and strong office computer skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize
  • Fluent in English, other language would be an advantage
