Black & Grey HR is seeking an HSE Officer Offshore to join our clients offshore operations team on a permanent basis in Abu Dhabi working on a 90/30 rotation. The role will be responsible for managing HSE activities at offshore project sites ensuring compliance with company client and project HSE requirements. You will work closely with offshore operations teams to promote safe working practices conduct inspections and toolbox talks support emergency response investigate incidents and maintain accurate HSE reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement company client and project HSE policies procedures and requirements offshore.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections of work areas equipment and working practices and report deviations.
- Conduct HSE inductions toolbox talks safety briefings and awareness programs.
- Support emergency response activities including medical evacuations and emergency drills.
- Coordinate with offshore operations teams to ensure emergency preparedness and effective response procedures.
- Participate in the investigation of accidents incidents and near-misses and assist with corrective actions.
- Monitor the inspection and maintenance of lifesaving firefighting and emergency response equipment.
- Attend and facilitate offshore HSE meetings and coordinate with clients and operational teams on HSE matters.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly HSE reports statistics observations and incident documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable HSE standards and safe working practices.
Requirements
- Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification.
- ADNOC HSE Passport holder
- ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Auditor Certification.
- 67 years of HSE experience including a minimum of 2 years of offshore experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of national international and client-specific HSE standards.
- Experience in offshore marine oil & gas energy or related industries is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of HSE inspections risk assessments incident investigation emergency response and reporting.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication interpersonal planning organizing and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong report-writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in offshore and challenging operational environments.
