HSE Engineer

Welcome to Al Madina Agencies & Services LLC, a prominent player in the Oil and Gas industry based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to join our team. As an HSE Engineer with mechanical oil and gas expertise, you will play a vital role in ensuring plant and equipment safety, conducting risk assessments, managing Permit to Work (PTW) systems, monitoring mechanical/process equipment integrity, and ensuring compliance with regional standards, including ADNOC and international oil and gas codes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the maintenance, repair, and operation of heavy mechanical and process equipment (pumps, compressors, piping, pressure vessels, and valves) in oil and gas facilities.

- Conduct Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), and mechanical risk assessments for high-pressure or high-temperature systems.

- Implement and oversee safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

- Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and potential hazards to prevent future occurrences.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Requirements & Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical oil and gas environments.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

- Strong knowledge of regional safety standards and regulations.

- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety procedures.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Certification in Health and Safety is a plus.
