• Assigning housekeeping tasks tostaff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standardsof cleanliness are met.
• Scheduling staffshifts and organizing replacements as required.
• Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poorhousekeeping service.
• Providing training tothe housekeeping staff.
• Regularly takinginventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock asneeded.
• Issuing cleaning supplies andequipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Screening housekeeping applicants and recommendingpromotions, transfers, and dismissals.
• Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staffshortages.
