Room Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards.
- Change bed linens replace towels and replenish guest amenities.
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms including fixtures tiles and surfaces.
- Replenish toiletries and towels.
- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies hallways and elevators.
- Empty trash containers and replace liners.
- Dust and clean surfaces in public spaces.
- Collect and launder linens and towels.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean and dirty linens.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests or concerns promptly.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Coordinate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with other departments as needed.
- Report any shortages or replenishment needs for cleaning supplies and amenities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing bending and lifting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
