Job Description
Education and experience:
Hotel managers typically require a bachelor's degree in hotel and hospitality management or a related field. Having a master's degree in hotel management is an added advantage.
You must have practical experience managing similar hotels, which usually ranges between 2-4 years or more, depending on the size and type of hotel.
Driving skills:
Must have strong management and leadership skills. You must be able to direct and motivate the hotel staff.
communication skills:
You need to excel at communicating with guests and staff, and have good communication skills in the local language and other languages if the hotel serves international guests.
