Provide accurate information about the restaurant's offerings, including menu items and specials.
Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns, and resolve problems quickly and politely.
Maintain a clean and organized reception station, including menus, reservation records, and other necessary items.
Coordinate with waiters and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service.
Increase sales of menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
Queue management and improved table rotation to increase seating capacity.
Assist in training the new reception team and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
Required profile of candidates
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Organizational abilities and ability to multi-task to handle a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure reservations and seating are accurately managed.
Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and resolve problems.
Ability to remain calm and balanced under pressure.
Previous experience in a similar role or customer service function is desirable.
Knowledge of food and beverage industry and menu items.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in the use of reservation software and other related computer applications.
