Head of Distribution

Our client is a leading group in distribution and retail in Saudi Arabia and the MENA Region.

It is currently looking for a Head of Distribution to handle its operations in KSA, and to be based in Riyadh.

The Head of Distribution should have previous experience in Home Appliances distribution.The candidate is expected to achieve department’s goals, set the budget and targets for the team, manage day to day operations, analyze sales reports, monitor delivery distribution, handle stock of home appliances and activate the stock.

Head of Distribution Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of the Department’s objectives, goals, initiatives, plans, policies, procedures and monitor correct execution
• Develop the department’s annual budget and plan resources requirements
• Lead the employees toward achieving the department’s goals and ensure they are receiving proper mentoring and training
• Manage day-to-day operations of the department and ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures
• Participate in the development of Sales plan as per organization’s strategy and objectives
• Manage the development of preliminary sales forecast to ensure targets are being met
• Coordinate with Product Management team regarding products offerings and specifications and ensuring proper clients’ interactions about the products
• Work on improving distribution processes, policies, and procedures
• Monitor the monthly sales report and ensure targets are met according to the company’s overall budget
• Analyze the sales reports of the products and communicate findings to Senior Managers
• Monitor the delivery distribution of the products in order to ensure high quality of operations and efficiency of products delivery

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Home Appliances
• Previous distribution experience
• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
• Relevant communication and leadership skills
• Previous Management experience
