Our prestigious client a provider of real estate and facilities management services is currently seeking a Hard Services Manager to join their team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

This role requires individuals with a background in 57 star hotels exceptional customerfacing skills and operational experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical engineering support and consultancy to the client and ensuring the delivery of maintenance management and critical utility services across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

As a Hard Services Manager your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic direction and advice on all sitebased hard services matters
  • Serving as the siteapproved person for confined space entry and high voltage (HV) isolations
  • Ensuring strict adherence to site HSSE (Health Safety Security and Environment) policies and implementing consequence management for any flagrant violations
  • Leading the maintenance strategy to improve techniques that reduce invasive maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance of both planned and reactive maintenance activities with the service level agreement and key performance indicators
  • Ensuring that thirdparty hard services suppliers have current professional qualifications and driving relicensing or training as required for staff
  • Performance managing subcontract suppliers and driving continuous improvement
  • Identifying and implementing best practices and innovative solutions for hard services
  • Managing small works projects such as relocations or client equipment handling
  • Preparing monthly operating budget variance reports and managing discretionary spend budget
  • Delivering quality services in a costeffective and operationally efficient manner
  • Providing adequate skills training and resources to meet technical requirements and critical services standards
  • Reviewing and tracking recommendations for appropriate action plans
  • Supporting operations teams in developing updating and maintaining account plans and other quality documents
  • Ensuring fulfillment of all statutory requirements for equipment and systems
  • Managing regulatoryrelated matters with a pragmatic and problemsolving approach
  • Maintaining adherence to uptodate legislation across all sites
  • Supporting local FM teams in the effective management of thirdparty contractors
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues while minimizing the impact on daytoday operations
  • Collaborating with the account management team to deliver on collective business plans
  • Promoting a positive EHS (Environment Health and Safety) culture
  • Ensuring compliance with our clients initiatives and maintaining alignment with operations
  • Driving common training requirements across regions and reviewing methods for ensuring compliance with quality arrangements
  • Undertaking regional process analysis and developing common compliance methods and processes for standardization
  • Implementing a schedule of statutory compliance selfaudits and monitoring adherence
  • Maintaining an uptodate asset list of items requiring statutory inspection or certification
  • Documenting and implementing all statutory and compliance obligations through risk management and compliance systems

Effective communication with the client peers and management team. Monitor third party contracts ensuring value for money and innovative service provided.
A change agent with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge


Strong proven experience of working within a hard services environment at a management level preferably within an R&D environment.
Contract management experience specifically financial acumen
Proven track record of managing engineering maintenance and projects across multiple locations.
Have previous P&L responsibility.
