This is the job for you! We are currently looking for a Project Manager (SLFJP) for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:
  • Salary of 56$/h
  • Contract for 6 months with potential of extension

  • Toronto 100% Remote

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in the delivery and execution of all phases of assigned projects from initiation to closure, managing timelines, budget and scope for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Build collaborative relationships with project sponsors and stakeholder teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that align scope, time, cost, quality, resources and risks with on-going monitoring of project execution for any deviations from the plan, invoking corrective action and contingency plans where necessary.
  • Motivate, engage and focus efforts of multi-site project teams by providing clear direction, ensuring access to required tools and removing barriers as necessary.
  • Establish effective project communications, ensuring that project delivery expectations are clearly understood and specified, and that information/updates are distributed in a timely manor to ensure stakeholder buy in and project success.
  • Prioritize and manage own workload and the workload of project team members in order to deliver quality results against aggressive timelines.
  • Build and maintain detailed schedules and RAID logs, proactively managing risks/issues while effectively leveraging the change control process and escalating for support and awareness as appropriate.
  • Play a role in organizing, attending and facilitating project workshops with diverse group of cross-enterprise stakeholders.
  • Ensure that appropriate processes and techniques are being leveraged by project teams, identifying any necessary training or support required.
  • Ensure all projects have appropriate level of governance and are executed with demonstrated alignment to company project execution standards and practices.
  • Ensure successful and seamless transition of projects to Operations and Production Support team.

What you will need to succeed:
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, eagerness to learn, self motivated and independent worker.
  • Should be able to influence others and understand/represent business priorities while making decisions.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of SDLC.
  • Well conversant with MS Project and Powerpoint.
  • Preferred experience in Changepoint.
