Graduate - Public Health Fire Systems

Design Support:

• Assist senior engineers in developing innovative and sustainable public health and fire protection strategies for buildings and sitewide infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate public health and fire protection systems seamlessly into overall building designs.
• Conduct research and analysis to support the selection of appropriate systems, technologies, and materials to mitigate health hazards and fire risks.

Documentation and Analysis:

• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules for public health and fire protection systems.
• Conduct calculations and hydraulic simulations to evaluate the performance of systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate design recommendations and findings to project stakeholders.

Compliance and Codes:

• Stay updated on building codes, fire life safety regulations, and public health standards to ensure compliance in system design.
• Assist in conducting code reviews and ensure that designs meet regulatory requirements.
• Support the documentation and submission of design plans to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
