Job Summary

As a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer you will play a crucial role in the handson diagnosis repair and overhaul of various types of rotating equipment contributing significantly to our cuttingedge energy companys operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the repair and overhaul of rotating equipment including dismantling diagnosing assembling testing and issuing related technical reports.
• Offer technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot repair and modify existing equipment while identifying cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.
• Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs to identify root causes corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Introduce and apply the latest technology in repair methodology.
• Develop and revise the departments technical procedures and standards.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers quality inspectors and technicians.
• Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals.
• Collaborate with department engineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) other company departments and manufacturers.
• Coordinate with InHouse Repair Units Quality Assurance units InKingdom Contractors vendors and manufacturers for shop repair work scopes.
• Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of handson experience in the mechanical field particularly with rotating equipment.
• Proven experience in mechanical design troubleshooting and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment such as gas compressors steam turbines pumps and gearboxes.
• Experience in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility for steam turbines gas compressors and diesel engines.
• Excellent English reading and writing skills.
