GIS Developer

• Design, analyze and update GIS tools. Determining ways to efficiently collect data from its sources and how entered, stored and processed. and procedures for applying GIS technology.
  
• Build and design databases for the layers of geographic information systems in accordance with the requirements of the center.
  
• Translate geographical data from a variety of sources including censuses, field data, satellite images and photographs weather, existing maps or any other source.
  
• Contribute to the preparation of the state atlas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and displaying statistical data on digital maps.
  
• Collect, analyze and integrate spatial data from inside and outside the center and determine the best ways to solve its problems and geographical correction.
  
• Follow-up the work of analytical and design studies related to databases associated with geographic information systems and needs.
  
• Analyze geographical relationships between different types of data, modify and update the plotted spatial data
  
• Optimize the system and Prepare training courses to increase staff efficiency.
  
• Responsible for geo-tracking and supervision of control room staff.
  
• Supervise the control room team and providing them with geographical guidance related to operations.
  
• Perform with the team work to draw up paths and plans.
  
• Manage the GIS program.
  
• Evaluate the features of GIS and make suggestions to management regarding modernization and development.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
  
• 3+ Years of Experience in same position or equivalent
  
• Should have the ability to provide GIS applications and facility planning system support, analysis and drawing Maps.
  
• Must have experience in the following subtitle programming languages.
  
• CSS3 / Bootstrap/ JavaScript API #ASP.NET /HTML5, Objects Visual Basic.NET ESRI Arc, Python Scripts ESRI REST Services, C# ArcGIS, Google Map APIs, WCF Web Services, Web.
  
• Knowledge of geospatial concepts Familiarity with standard translation development protocols and third-party standards and Familiarity with standard software development protocols and coding standards and Switch control systems (git and svn).
