Job Description

- Providing feedback to students on their progress and helping them improve in areas where they are struggling
- Creating and managing lesson plans that align with state standards, including any special topics or events that should be addressed
- Creating a positive classroom environment where students feel safe and comfortable expressing themselves
- Conducting research on current topics in order to create new lesson plans or improve existing ones
- Evaluating students’ progress and providing feedback to parents regarding their child’s progress
- Helping students understand concepts and ideas through hands-on activities, projects, and games
- Explaining difficult concepts in a way that is easy for students to understand
- Teaching students how to speak correctly and effectively in public settings
- Teaching students how to read, write, speak, and understand the culture of the French language and its people
