Fleet Maintenance Manager

Required Skills to be successful:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in car service, car rental or accident workshop industry. With equivalent number of years of relevant work experience in fleet maintenance, automotive repair, or a related field. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with a variety of vehicle types, including trucks, cars, and specialized fleet vehicles.
• Budget Management: Experience in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of and experience with regulatory requirements related to vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
• Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks: Analytical Skills, Negotiation Skills, Planning and Organisation Skills, Customer Relations skills, Problem-Solving skills, Decision Making Skills, Interpersonal Skills and Team Building skills
• Proficiency in using fleet management software, maintenance tracking systems, and other relevant technologies.
• Ability to analyse data, generate reports, and use key performance indicators to make informed decisions.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fleet maintenance.
